Hire Terms and Conditions
All bookings are under the terms and conditions set out below.
- Bubblebubble shall hire the Hot Tub for use at the Delivery Address subject to the terms and conditions of this agreement.
- The Hire Period starts on the day of the Delivery Date. Bubblebubble shall be responsible for the delivery of the Hot Tub.
- Payment Terms are as set out on the Order Form.
- All amounts due under this agreement shall be paid in full without any set-off counterclaim or deductions.
- The Deposit is a deposit against any default by the Hirer of any Rental Payments or any loss of or damage to the Hot Tub.
- The Hirer shall ensure that the Hot Tub is kept and operated in a suitable environment which meets the requirements set out in the Schedule 1 and the Usage/Care requirements set out in Schedule 2.
- The Hirer is responsible for the supervision of the Hot Tub as well as its care and safety and the behaviour of anyone using the Hot Tub. Under 16 must be supervised at all times.
- The Hirer is responsible for the Hot Tub and returning the Hot Tub to Bubblebubble in good working order.
- The Hirer shall pay the cost of replacing any Hot Tub which is lost or stolen.
- The Hot Tub shall be returned at the end of the Hire Period in a good condition.
- Bubblebubble may enter any land or premises where Bubblebubble reasonably believes the Hot Tub is situated. Bubblebubble may enter at reasonable times on reasonable notice.
- Bubblebubble shall not be liable for any injury or damage caused to the Delivery Address. If the Hirer hires the Hot Tub for business use Bubblebubble excludes all liability for any loss of business or profits or other consequential losses.
- The Hirer is responsible for ensuring the correct chemicals are added and chlorine levels complied with. If the Hot Tub is returned damaged or soiled the Hirer shall be liable for the costs of any repairs.
- The Hirer must at all times follow the instructions for use of the Hot Tub.
- If Bubblebubble cannot set up the Hot Tub due to lack of space, inappropriate space, not the right access to water and power the full amount of the Hire Fee shall be payable.
- Bubblebubble reserves the right to terminate any booking if they in their reasonable opinion consider there to be a risk to health and safety.
- Bubblebubble shall not be liable or responsible for any failure under this agreement to the extent caused by acts beyond its control.
- This agreement shall be governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
- The Hirer may cancel before the Delivery Date and the refund for such cancellation is as set out below. Bubblebubble will use reasonable endeavours to reschedule to a new Delivery Date but if it is unable to do so the refund policy below shall apply.

Rental Requirements
Power
- Mains access point within 7 metres of Hot Tub.
- No other mains electrical items within reach of the Hot Tub apart from the Hot Tub heater unit supplied.
Water
An external tap which can be used to fill the Hot Tub.
A hose pipe from the tap. If necessary, a hose can be supplied.
Space
- Access to the area is ideally by the side of the house (min. 0.7 meters wide) or through the house (subject to Covid restrictions in force). All access should be clear of items blocking access.
- The Hot Tub requires at least 3x3m and if a gazebo is ordered then a minimum of 4x4m.
- The ground must be flat and clear of sharp objects and capable of holding a weight of up to 2 metric tonnes (Hot Tub, water and people).
Other
- Hirer must be at least 18 years old. Proof will be requested if in doubt.
- Hirer must be at the delivery site one day prior to hire dates to accept delivery.
- Hirer must be at the delivery address on the day after hire for the installers to remove the Hot Tub.
- Hygiene is maintained though use of chlorine. Anyone who is allergic should not use the Hot Tub.
- Provide parking for the company’s van.
- The Hirer must ensure that the Hot Tub is properly covered with the cover when not in use.
- The Hot Tub should never be used alone without another responsible adult present.
How Delivery/Install/Collection work
Delivery
We will contact you ahead of time to confirm an estimated delivery period.
Installation
Our team will bring the Hot Tub to the desired location and set it up. They will begin the process of filling the Hot Tub and show the hirer how to set up and balance the chemicals in the Hot Tub. Each rental will come with a “how to” guide.
Collection
Prior to pick-up, our team will contact you. Please do not empty the Hot Tub ahead of time. All of that will be handled by a member of our team. We will have a pump that will empty the water into your drain.
Usage and Care
Do's and Don't
Can I exceed the maximum number of users recommended?
You must not exceed the maximum number of users. Not only could it cause damage to the Hot Tub but more importantly water could spill over the side and cause injury to yourself and others.
Can I use the Hot Tub if I’m pregnant?
Pregnant women should not use the Hot Tub.
Can children use the Hot Tub?
Children under the age of four are not permitted to use the Hot Tub. Older children may use the Hot Tub under the constant supervision of a responsible adult. It is not recommended to increase the temperature above 37 degrees Celsius due to the possibility of an adverse reaction.
Can I leave the cover off when not in use?
It is imperative that the cover is carefully and correctly installed when the Hot Tub is not in use. This is especially important with young children.
Can I use the Hot Tub alone?
As with swimming you should never use a Hot Tub alone. There should always be someone outside the Hot Tub who can keep a watchful eye out.
Can I dive bomb/jump in the Hot Tub?
No. It is very dangerous to dive or jump into any pool. You could injure yourself or fellow users and spill water over the sides.
How long will it take to warm up?
This is determined by several factors such as: the initial temperature of the water, the ambient temperature, whether the pool is covered, and so on. Assuming the cover is on, it takes approximately 1 hour for the Hot Tub to heat 1 degree.
Can I use hot water to fill the Hot Tub?
You certainly can. It is preferable to use hot water if you intend to use it early the next morning. The hotter the water starts out, the less time you must wait for it to warm up.
Usage/Care FAQs
Can I place the Hot Tub under a tree?
It is possible, but it is not recommended due to the debris that could fall into the Hot Tub. If you want to do this, we recommend that you rent a Gazebo to reduce cleaning time.
Can I put the Hot Tub in my house?
No. We don’t allow Hot Tubs to be put in a house. This is due to the risk of flooding and electrocution.
Can I keep any electrical devices near the Hot Tub?
The answer is unequivocal no. Water and electricity do not mix. Aside from the Hot Tub pump, which is specifically designed for this purpose, no other mains electrical equipment should be near the Hot Tub.
Can I turn it off over night?
Please don't because you'll lose a lot of heat and will have to heat it up again the next day. This will waste your time and money.
What is the maximum temperature?
The machines have a cut-off temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. However, as this is quite hot, we advise you to keep it at 37- 38 degrees Celsius. This temperature is that of a nice warm bath.
How do I keep it clean?
Washing before entering the Hot Tub will significantly extend the life of the water and help keep it clean. Showering before use removes grease and oils from your skin. Moreover, makeup and tanning lotions should be removed as they have a significant impact on the water. As an extra we include with every hire a foot bath. The better you take care for the water, the longer it will last and the more enjoyable your experience will be.
Will I need to change the water during the rental?
This shouldn’t be necessary as we don’t offer rentals of more than 7 days.
What is your Coronavirus Policy?
This is heavily dependent on the government policies in effect at the time of delivery. However, if your hire is unable to proceed due to Covid restrictions in place at the time of rental, we will refund your rental fee less our administration fee (currently £10.00).
Will you demonstrate how to use the Hot Tub before leaving?
You will be shown how to control the chemicals in the Hot Tub, how the Hot Tub works and how to handle it safely. We also leave you with documentation that explain as how it works an aide memoire.
We recommend no longer than 20 minutes at a time.
May I consume alcohol?
As with anything alcohol should be consumed with moderation.
